বিডা চেয়ারম্যান বলেন, বাংলাদেশে শ্রমিকদের অধিকার অন্য দেশের তুলনায় কম। এটিকে একটি মানসম্মত অবস্থানে নিয়ে যেতে হবে। সে জন্য আইএলওর সঙ্গে বিডা একটি সমঝোতা স্মারক করেছে। চীনের হান্দা ইন্ডাস্ট্রিজ কোম্পানির সঙ্গে আরেকটি এমওইউ করা হয়েছে। তারা বাংলাদেশে ১৫ কোটি ডলার বিনিয়োগে আগ্রহ দেখিয়েছে। এই বিনিয়োগ এলে এক থেকে দুই বছরের মধ্যে ১৫ হাজার মানুষের কর্মসংস্থান হবে। আশিক চৌধুরী বলেন, ‘আগামী মাসে ২০০ বিনিয়োগকারীসহ বাংলাদেশ সফরে আসবেন চীনের বাণিজ্যমন্ত্রী। এ বিষয়ে বাংলাদেশের বাণিজ্য উপদেষ্টাকে জানিয়েছেন চীনের বাণিজ্যমন্ত্রী। জার্মানির বিনিয়োগকারীরাও আসতে চান। তিনি বলেন, আরব আমিরাতের ডিপি ওয়ার্ল্ড গ্রুপ বাংলাদেশের মাতারবাড়ীর কাছাকাছি মুক্ত বাণিজ্য অঞ্চল করতে আগ্রহ প্রকাশ করেছে। Khobor Sangjog is a digital platform in Bangla language.
