Chicago Critical Care (IL) Mobile Medical Vehicle - 3/10/25

This mobile medical vehicle is built on a Freightliner MT-55 forward control chassis and features a Cummins 6.7L diesel engine with an Allison 2500 EVS automatic transmission. The all aluminum body has a swing out curbside door and wheelchair lift. There is a flip down step at the rear bumper for entry. We added our Extreme Duty body storage boxes for gear storage. Inside, the medical vehicle has a magnetic soft close pocket door to separate the cab area from the rear of the interior. There are two workstations and commercial grade aluminum cabinetry throughout. We also added grab handles to the ceiling for staff. Fixed bench seating runs both sides of the interior. The seat bases are hinged to provide underseat storage. The seats also include mounts to secure stretchers during transport. Dual wall-mount HVAC units handle the cooling duties. Electrical power is provided by a 12kW commercial quiet generator.
