In July 2024 I joined a group of relatives from the crew who lost their lives on the wreck of the SS Nemesis. The event had been arranged by Tim Smith and Brad Duncan of Hertiage NSW. I was very familiar with the Nemesis story having included it in my book "The Vanished Fleet of the Sydney Coastline". Over the years, like a small group of other divers I dived and searched areas for the wreck site. But to no avail. I brought along my video camera to catch the memorial service, but I had no intensions of making a doco on it. However it was such a memorial day and with the help some good people I began putting this together. I was so glad when I heard the wreck had been found. It closes yet another page in the rich Maritime history of NSW. #shipwreck #wreckdiving
