Kayaking From Kings Landing Up Rock Spring Run

After a nice stay at Kelly Park Campground I drove just downstream to spot from which you can launch your own kayak or rent your own. Kings Landing as it's called is very well organized and has plenty of parking and lots of kayaks to rent. There was a very calm little canal that lead to the Rock Springs Run from where you can paddle upstream towards Kelly Park again as close as you can get to Rock Springs anyway. It's not a long paddle but there were still alligators, manatees, plenty of fish, and nice calm waters. Once you float back down you can then float further downstream then paddle back up and back to the launch.
