HHL celebrated the graduation ceremony 2019 as an event of inspiration. Two of the world’s most influential women spoke at the graduation ceremony: Christine Lagarde and German Chancellor Angela Merkel. In addition to a laudatio by Christine Lagarde to Angela Merkel, the German Chancellor was awarded an honorary doctorate by Prof. Dr. Stubner, Dean of HHL. The ceremony for 220 graduates from 65 nations took place at the historical Leipzig Opera House on the morning of August 31, 2019 with over 1,200 attendings.
