Through the years, some of the most iconic buses in the city had always been the Orion VII's, through the 1st Generations to the 2nd Generation+'s (yes, they're not even called 3rd Generations), these buses have helped grow our city dramatically with fleet, filling our boroughs with the different varieties of this kind of bus fleet. With the year 2021 in full swing, and Spring warming things up in every borough on every street, with the MTA's massive plan of orders comes to a total of 5 brand new types of buses, 1 being to replace our well-overdue D4500's, and aging D4500CL's, whilst the other 4 are to replace our aging Orions, coming up to the end of their lives giving us our final memories to share, with the ones next in line being the final fleet of original Orion VII's we have left spanning across almost the entire city. As of this video, East New York Depot and Fresh Pond Depot, the last Brooklyn holders for these kinds of buses, have put them to quick extinction before the year had struck, as low reliability shows to be much more of a problem as time goes on with these buses. Only Queens and Manhattan are your final bets, though unfortunately, it doesn't seem like Manhattan units will be lasting for very much longer, with the quick deliveries spreading across the bustling borough. In this video, it will focus on a bus (unit #6734 in the ride segment specifically) that is located in Manhattan, Michael J. Quill Bus Depot to be specific. This is one of the many units that will fall to the end of their useful and productive line within the borough of Manhattan, 3 depots being the holders of these buses. (Currently, Manhattanville, Michael J. Quill, and Mother Clara Hale.) Catch these units while you still have the fortunate chance to! Video Clips Taken: March, 10th, 2021. Enjoy!
