In the Western Cape, severe storms are reported in Matjiesrivier outside Oudtshoorn, with flooding along the Matjies River and the closure of Meiringspoort due to rising water levels. Scenic and lifestyle highlights include a sunrise in Kalk Bay, beach views from Mossel Bay and Struisbaai, as well as a sunset boat cruise and hot air balloon experience in Cape Town.
