If you watched our other videos, you saw us excavate virgin, lamproite, diamond ore at The Worthington Diamond Mine. This site is located just a short distance outside of Southwest Arkansas' famous Crater of Diamonds State Park. We hauled the diamond ore to our state-of-the-art, diamond recovery plant in a dump truck. Then we fed ore into the plant with the excavator. After rolling around in two, different trommels, the ore is sized and jigged across four, one-foot-square screens; and the light material is discarded. Then what do you do? That is what I show you in this video. We dump the four, one-foot-square screens into our Pleitz Jig to concentrate the heavy (dense) minerals together.
