The model on test is the 1.4 litre turbocharged petrol, which feeds its power to all four wheels via Suzuki's Allgrip system. The engine is mated to a 6-speed auto, although this transmission is no longer available and has been replaced with a 6-speed automated manual, which is mated to a 1.5 litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and electric motor. This Suzuki S Cross 2023 is the range-topping 'Ultra' model, meaning you get a plethora of features including LED lights, keyless entry, front and rear parking sensors, 360 degree camera, reversing camera, 17" alloys, part leather upholstery, heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, a strong suite of safety system, 9" touchscreen, navigation, smartphone connectivity and a panoramic roof. When it comes to the engine it offers 129hp along with 235Nm of torque. The Suzuki S Cross 2023 can offer up to 52.3mpg on a combined run with CO2 emissions coming in at 120g/km. However, if you do go for the 6-speed auto as tested here, that changes to 139g/km.
