KORG SDD 3000 Pedal (Modulation Section)

So I took the audio that I still saved and threw some pictures of the SDD Pedal in here for your viewing pleasure. I recently got myself an SDD 3000 PEDAL! You may have seen my Line 6 M13 Modulated Delay test and I am basically just unsatisfied with my modulation on the Line 6 delays. I wanted to upgrade to something that had a bit more depth and warmer sound. I think I scored big with the SDD pedal because this unit is amazing! The delays are clear and crisp and the modulation section is right up there with the EHX Memory Man. This video is showcasing purely just the modulation section using only the Analog delay type on the pedal. Throughout the recording I constantly tweaked various parameters on the pedal to change various components of the modulation. Such as the waveform (triangle, sine, square wave), frequency (determines how fast or slow the mod is), and the intensity (how much of the mod you want affecting the signal). You can hear some crazy out there sounds here as well as some classic U2-ish sounding mod. You can add modulation to any delay type and I honestly pretty much love each delay type on this pedal. The Analog is good for old school Memory Man and U2 type delay sounds. The SDD 3000 delay type is a replica of the original SDD rack unit. The Tape model sounds incredibly warm and I honestly really love this delay type, especially with some slight mod. Kosmic is a "shimmer" type effect. Reverse is self explanatory. Pitch adds a pitch shifted delay effect. You can tap tempo with this pedal which makes it ideal for live situations. I've already used this several times live and I love it. This pedal accepts drive really well and can handle multiple effects with ease. In the video I cut on an overdrive at certain parts. I was using a Tube Screamer Mini for the overdrive bits. The SDD doesn't really sound all too digital, especially in comparison to the L6 delay models (which aren't bad btw but they're not really my taste). I plan to try and do a little more in depth video with the SDD 3000 really soon.
