Left To Freeze at 12°C Beside A Bin, The Puppy Didn’t Trust Humans Anymore Until My Hand Touched It! I found a puppy by a bin in my village and I couldn’t leave him there. It was -12c outside and still snow everywhere. The problem is they don’t come easy these dogs. He was very scared and every-time I got within a couple of meters of him, he just bolted into someone’s garden. In the end, I am going over the fence and into the garden. Once in the garden there was no way out for him as it was fenced. He hid a couple of times in the trees but eventually, I got him on a stretch. He is very slow, malnourished and weak. So I was able to catch him fairly quickly and bring him home. This was the first good look at him. Honestly, he was on course to either starved or freeze to death. It was obsolutely freezing last week. It's brutal isn't it. He's literally just a puppy. So scared and struggling to live. He was obviously very scared and confused. He wouldn’t eat or drink and then he was vomiting. So straight to the vet. He was tested for 7 diseases and they were all negative. So they gave him some antibiotics and anti sickness via injection. Then hooked him up to an IV. After he had that, I brought him home with the IV and more injections, which I did here. After the 2nd day on the IV he began to eat and drink broth.
