The plot revolves around the three inseparable Dover brothers - athletic Tom, middle child Dick, and portly, curly-haired Larry - who set off to fetch their fiancée, Dora Standpipe, from Miss Cheddar's Female Academy. However, their plans are thwarted when the nefarious stock villain Dan Backslide kidnaps Dora.
