Edvard Grieg, In the Hall of the Mountain King from "Peer Gynt Suite No. 1" Jaylee Davis, Alba Ocumarez, Aurora Ortega, Leah Quiroz, and Kendra Vinluan, performers Kiernan Hankins, understudy The Old Bridge Chamber Orchestra, conducted by David Kirven, and Dance Etc., led by Ann Boyle, artistic director and choreographer and Danielle Du Fóre-García, associate artistic director and choreographer, presented "Halloween Favorites" on September 27, 2025 at the Hylton Performing Arts Center, Manassas, VA. Founded in 1980 to bring quality professional dance instruction to students of all ages in Woodbridge and the surrounding communities, Dance Etc. has built a vibrant performance legacy. The school has represented the region at international festivals in China and Germany; performed at Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, College Bowls, and the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Performers have twice shared the stage with the Moscow Ballet in the D.C. area and have joined the New Dominion Choraliers in their annual productions for over 30 years. The Old Bridge Chamber Orchestra (OBCO) is an all-volunteer ensemble established in 1998. Our vision is to inspire in the community a deeper appreciation of orchestral and small ensemble performances through a variety of musical offerings, educational outreach, and artistic collaborations. OBCO seeks to provide enjoyable musical experiences in the greater Prince William region by focusing on the quality of its artistic presence, audience experience, and a sustainable infrastructure.
