Riccardo Bellofiore presents his latest paper, "Money and Finance in Marx Revisited." In his paper, Prof. Bellofiore reappraises some aspects of Marx's theory of money through a comparison of two views: the one held by Suzanne de Brunhoff, focusing on money as the universal equivalent and the final validation of private labors in circulation; and the one held by Augusto Graziani, focusing on banking finance to production and the ante-validation of value production. The implications for Marx's theory of value and for the inquiry of post-WWII capitalist development and crises will be drawn.
