Hello my Candid Gang! Happy Sunday! I hope you all are well. I am doing and feeling amazing enjoying a relaxing weekend. If you follow me on IG you will have seen pics in my story from my recent NY trip. It was a much needed 8 day vacation. Come along as I take you with me to my favorite city doing all the things. As I told you all before, I am stepping out doing something new each month to gain exposure and to minimize the fear of doing things alone. Life is too short to not live your best life doing all the things you love! Below are some the places I visited and would highly recommend in case you're interested in traveling to NY. Lodging - My daughter's place! I will always recommend staying in Manhattan however hotels in the city can be pricey. Another option would be staying in Brooklyn, preferably close to the Brooklyn Bridge which you can easily take right into the city. The Marriott Brooklyn Bridge on Adams St. was our family's favorite. https://www.marriott.com/en-us/hotels... Brooklyn Museum - Definitely check out the Solid Gold Exhibit. So much culture! https://www.brooklynmuseum.org Shopping on 5th Ave - You will definitely be amazed! Whew chile shop wisely! Check out the link for all the stores and restaurants. https://fifthavenue.nyc Le Cafe' Louis Vuitton - Although we were unable to secure reservations make sure you book in advance if this is on your to do list. If not, the view of the building itself is amazing! I plan on visiting next time for brunch. https://lecafelvnyc.com/?utm_source=G... St. Patrick's Cathedral - OMG! This church is absolutely breathtaking! You can view it from the outside however they do have tours. https://www.google.com/search?client=... Peak Restaurant - Hudson Yards OMG! Offers exquisite dining and cocktails.The views at this restaurant was a 10/10, especially since it's located on the 101st floor. The food was 8/10. My overall experience was a 10/10 because the service was impeccable! Once the maitre d' seats you and takes your order, you will be invited to step out on the Edge which is the highest observation deck on the Western Hemisphere. Vessel at Hudson - Unfortunately I did not experience this however I did capture footage as we were leaving the Peak Restaurant.
