Hello flower friends! I'm Ellen. I'm a florist, newsletter writer and host of FlowerMore (https://flowermore.mn.co/) an online community of flower nerds who dig deep into the endlessly fascinating world of flowers! In this video I review my profit and loss in my 13th year in business. This was in 2020 so it was definitely a challenging year. The year started out normally - plans for weddings, events, classes and in-shop activities. The cancellations started coming in the spring. Like every small business owner, I needed to pivot like an NBA player. I started a no-contact flower bucket delivery service so customers could design at home. It worked great! I could keep buying flowers from my farmers and keep my workers working. It was a tough year for everyone. I am grateful we made the best of it and for the community support. I even made a little money. Join flower friends on all my online flower spaces. Subscribe to this channel to learn about sustainable floral design. My free weekly flower newsletter (https://www.ellenfrost.com) is all about flowers including profiles, farmer stories, news and more! My online community, FlowerMore (https://flowermore.mn.co/), is the place to take your flower obsession to the next level and nerd out on flowers! //Join FlowerMore, My online community https://flowermore.mn.co/ // Subscribe to my free weekly flower newsletter https://www.ellenfrost.com // Learn with me at The Gardeners Workshop Preparing To Sell To Florists: https://thegardenersworkshop.com/prod...
