One day, the postman unexpectedly delivered a large package to me ... when I opened it, there was a hand-made ukulele inside! One of my YouTube subscribers made a gift of it to me, and the only ukulele song that ever really knocked my socks off was the medley of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" and "What A Wonderful World" - an awesome performance given by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole - so I decided to write my own words to it ... giving glory to Elohim ... and this is the result. Children of Elohim (The Netchatef Song) Somewhere over the rainbow ... way up high All the dreams that we dreamed of, once in a lullaby ... I Oh, somewhere over the rainbow ... children fly And the dreams that they dreamed of ... do, really do, come true. Someday I'll see the Morning Star And wake up where the clouds are far behind me ... Where trouble melts like lemon drops High above the chimney tops ... that's where you'll find me. Oh, somewhere over the rainbow ... children of Elohim fly And I can believe if I dare to ... so why, oh why wouldn't I? I see trees of green and red roses, too ... The River of Life and the Light of Truth ... And I think to myself, "What a wonderful Elohim!" I see skies of blue ... I see clouds so white ... I see all my loved ones ... and no more nights ... And I think to myself, "What a wonderful Elohim!" The fragrance of the Father fills the air And colors the faces of everyone there ... I see friends shaking hands ... saying, "How do you do?" But they're really saying, "I ... I love you!" I hear babies laugh and I watch them grow ... They'll be much more than we presently know! And I think to myself, "What a wonderful Elohim! Elohim!" Someday I'll see the Morning Star And wake up where the clouds are far behind me ... Where trouble melts like lemon drops High above the chimney tops - that's where you'll find me! Somewhere over the rainbow ... dreams come true ... And you can believe if you dare to ... so why, oh why wouldn't you? Ooh ...
