Room On The Broom live - The Lowry Salford - Theatre Vlog & Review Including Curtain Call

In this vlog my husband & I take our 2 children Alice 5 & Leo 3 to see Room On The Broom Live at the Lowry in Salford, the recommended age for the show is 3+ and the run time is 55 minutes with no interval, witch was just about the right length for my little ones. We went to see the 10.30am show on Sunday 18th December, the show was on in the smaller Quays Theatre and we were sat in Tier 2 row A seats 55 - 58. The view from our seats was not great you had to lean forward in order to see anything & there were bars which restricted our view. The children could not see a thing if they sat in their seat, we ended up having to sit them both on our knees so that they could lean forward to see I looked around and every on on tier 1 & 2 all had their children on their knees so that they could see, I definitely would not sit in those seats again with children. We paid £21 each for our tickets which for us is quite expensive for a 55 minute kids show especially when the children couldn't even see anything from their seat. The show is based on the book Room On The Broom by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, and is produced by Tall Stories. The witch and her cat are travelling on their broomstick when they pick up some hitch-hikers – a friendly dog, a beautiful green bird and a frantic frog. But this broomstick’s not meant for five and – CRACK – it snaps in two… just as the hungry dragon appears! Will there ever be room on the broom for everyone? We all really enjoyed the show and definitely recommend it. The show is on at the Lowry until Sunday 8th December, I will link below where you can buy tickets for these shows.
