F-35B Lightning II Demo 2021 Cherry Point Air Show (Sunday)

The F-35B Lightning II puts on an incredible display at the 2021 MCAS Cherry Point Air Show. Shot on Sunday, September 26. The MCAS Cherry Point Air Show is one of four Marine Corps air shows that regularly run in the US. These air shows heavily feature Marine Corps aircraft, like the AV-8B Harrier, the F-35B Lightning II, and the MV-22 Osprey, which only fly at a few other air shows every year. The Cherry Point Air Show typically takes place in the late spring of even numbered years. Like many air shows, the 2020 Cherry Point Air Show was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic. During the summer of 2021, the MCAS Miramar Air Show was canceled, leaving the Blue Angels available for that weekend. Within a couple of months, the organizers at Cherry Point were able to put together a fantastic air show. I was able to attend both days of the air show and will be uploading most of the performances for both days over the next several weeks. Enjoy!
