The path soon opens up to the sheltered, postcard-perfect crescent of Rainbow Bay Beach, renowned for its calm swimming conditions and world-class surf break at Snapper Rocks. Finally, the trail culminates atop the elevated headland of Point Danger, where you can take in breathtaking panoramic views, spot whales during migration season, and stand with one foot in Queensland and the other in New South Wales at the historic border monument.
