Hiking in the Tatra Mountains with friends! After spending a couple days in Kraków we took a 2hr bus to the town of Zakopane, the gateway to the Tatra Mountains. We settled into our apartment, went for a quick food shop, and had a trip to the sauna before indulging in dinner cooked by Jack. The next morning we headed out at 8:30am for a full day of hiking. We decided to avoid the highly touristy lake 'Morskie Oko' and hiked in the valley of the five lakes instead. The valley of the five lakes was more impressive than any of us had expected. After a few hours, we hiked to the summit of Zawrat at 2158m. At the top, we were left to decided whether to go down the mountains with limited visibility or turn back on ourselves. As we descended the dangerous path, Olly fell very badly and lost three teeth. He tells the story from his perspective at the end of the Vlog.
