Its a a touchy subject. You need to have inherited, bribed in the 1990's, or had a few thousand dollars in a jar in the early 90's and bought a house or bribed someone. Min wage is about 950 USD a month. Average earner in Prague takes home 2000USD a month. A studio apartment in Prague is 350,000USD. If you did then you are laughing all the way to the bank in 2026. I remember when I was working hard labor jobs in Germany in the early 90's with illegal Czechs and Poles. El Gringo was working illegally too...Ha ha.. They were telling me if they worked in Germany for a half a year they could buy a mansion or bribe the right govt. official and get the house of their dreams,,,good ol wild 90's. I remember in 98 there was a Villa in Prague 4 that was a pension it was for sale for 80k USD,,,you would not be able to touch that today for under 1.5 to 2 Million USD. There was an apartment next to us for sale for 140.000CZK in 98 that was around 4,500 USD. That place now easily 350,000. THere was a reason back then foreigners were not allowed to buy. But hell yea they can buy now!!! HA HA
