Hey friends, For this project, I wanted to do something completely different! I really wanted to do something that combines my love of thrift flipping with my love of making shoes (since I haven't made shoes in a while), so I thought a project where I upcycle shoes would be perfect! In this video, I've attempted to create what would happen if Louis Vuitton and Crocs had a beautiful designer baby! My vision was to pick two brands that are the polar opposite to each other in terms of audience and price - so I hope you agree with my choices! This is definitely an asmr video (my first proper one), with loads of sticky asmr sounds when I'm using the sticky tape and a very satisfying peel when I'm taking it off my Crocs to make my pattern pieces. I have to admit, there are some funny sounds in there! Turn the volume UP on this one - I really hope you like it! Much love, Meg x WHAT I USED TO MAKE MY LV X CROCS BABY: -1 x second hand pair of crocs -1 x third hand Louis Vuitton bag -1 x bucket -Water -Clothes washing detergent -Microfibre cloth -Butchers paper -Part of a sheet of black rubber -1 x Angelus acrylic leather paint.
