How to Acclimate Rare Houseplants | Indoor Mini Greenhouse

Hey Guys, In this video we’re going to talk about how to acclimate your new houseplants. In most cases, bringing home a new houseplant from a nursery or plant shop is fairly simple and easy process, however when it comes to rare plants that are not natively grown in your region’s climate, it can be a bit tricky. They will need some time to acclimate as most of these plants are imported from overseas. Where their natural climate may be very different than your home. You’ll want to create a similar environment inside your home to start them off in, and gradually get them acclimated to your home temperature and humidity levels, so they can thrive and grow to be happy plants. This is still a fairly new experience for me when it comes to rare plants and as I continue on my houseplant journey, I’m excited to share what I’ve learned so far on this subject based on research and my general understanding and experience with taking care of indoor plants.
