I made a quick trip to Fairbanks and I decided to to stay in a remote dry cabin in the forest about 30 miles north of town where a wood stove is the only source of heat. The small off grid cabin was a perfect place to get a good nights sleep. The aurora borealis forecast was decent for the night so I fired up the wood stove and set up the camera for a time lapse of the sky.
