The second single from Greybeard’s upcoming album, “Dark Age” is now available exclusively on Bandcamp and Youtube. This song is a straight-up banger. It eases in with a spooky, wind-swept guitar that drops into a blistering trem-pick section and it doesn’t let up through its three and half minutes of pure blackened heavy metal! Set on the backdrop of a desolate earth that has been ravaged by environmental collapse, “Vultures” is the part of the story where our protagonist and his family are fleeing their home and being pursued by other survivors/scavengers. It’s hot, they’re terrified, water and food are scarce as the protagonist imagines what the vultures will do to him and his family if they catch them.
