At the end of June, we boarded the ferry from Barcelona to Tangier for a 28-hour journey across the Mediterranean to Morocco. We were among only a handful of foot passengers — most travelers were in vehicles, and many families were returning to Morocco for summer vacation. The atmosphere on board felt like the start of something meaningful, with reunions and holiday anticipation in the air. We booked a cabin for the overnight crossing, explored the open decks, and tried both the dining room and cafeteria. While there wasn’t a huge amount of entertainment on board, we found ways to stay occupied and enjoyed watching the sea roll by. After more than a full day at sea, arriving in Morocco felt incredibly exciting. In this video, we share: • What it’s like traveling as a foot passenger • Our cabin experience • Food options on board • What to expect during a 28-hour ferry crossing • First views of Tangier on arrival If you’re considering this route between Spain and Morocco, this video will show you exactly what to expect. #travelwithdannyandmj #Barcelona #Tangier #MoroccoTravel #SpainToMorocco #FerryTravel #MediterraneanCrossing #TravelVlog #SlowTravel #TravelToAfrica #MoroccoVlog #BarcelonaToTangier #TangierMorocco #MoroccoFerry
