This is the first time in nearly 8 years that I’ve replayed my own MaGMML3 level—and honestly, it’s so bad that I didn't even have the courage to face it. I skipped it without hesitation while playing through MaGMML3. It might sound funny now, but the reason I didn't disable Ice Wall and Magnetic Beam was simply because I didn't know how to disable weapons back then. My English was poor, and I was too afraid to ask for help, so I thought, "Maybe I'll just leave them in as secret shortcuts for speedrunning." As it turned out, that was a terrible decision. There are countless other issues, big and small: the lack of checkpoints, missing hint tokens, a tedious and overly punishing second half, and boring mini-bosses and bosses—the list goes on. Also, those levers embedded in the bricks were intended to be invisible, but for some reason, they ended up being visible. All of this was a result of my limited programming skills and lack of level design theory at the time. That said, I’m happy to see that some people liked the concept of the level. It’s still a regret of mine that I wasn't capable of making a decent level back then. Although my life is much busier now, I hope to remake it if I get the chance in the future. Even though my current career is unrelated to the gaming industry, this remains one of the most unforgettable experiences of my life. Other Updates (Unrelated to the video): I have abandoned Mega Man Control (or whatever my middle school project was called). It wasn't good, and it made me realize how much time and effort is required to create a complete and polished fangame—something my current life and work schedule simply won't allow. But I do have some news to share: I am currently programming and designing for Mega Man Heaven Fall (including Condense Woman, one of the bosses I designed. The official channel might look a bit strange or plain since the team members aren't native English speakers, but I can assure you that the project is progressing well and moving fast. Before I joined, the game used many unauthorized placeholder sprites. I’ve informed the project lead about the severity of this mistake and received a guarantee that it will never happen again. I’m truly sorry for the trouble this caused to all the original creators. We have completely replaced those assets and will credit all non-original asset creators in the next public version. We are currently remaking the levels in HF that don't look or play well to meet a higher quality standard, which will take some time, but we hope to show you more progress soon.
