"When God Turns On the Closed Captions", Scripture Daniel 5:5-6, 25-31

During King Belshazzar’s feast, the fingers of a man’s hand suddenly appeared and wrote upon the plaster wall of the palace, and when the king saw it, his face grew pale, his thoughts troubled him, his strength failed, and his knees knocked together in fear. Daniel was brought in to interpret the writing, which read “MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHAR-SIN.” He declared its meaning: God had numbered Belshazzar’s kingdom and finished it, the king had been weighed in the balances and found wanting, and his kingdom was divided and given to the Medes and Persians. Though Belshazzar honored Daniel with royal gifts, that very night the king was slain, and Darius the Mede received the kingdom. Thank you for joining us for Sunday Worship. Subscribe!
