Despite being their only child, they are more devoted enforcing Watchtower policies than having a relationship with their daughter. They have also chosen not to have a relationship with their grandchildren. QUESTION: In the case of where a father or mother or son or daughter is disfellowshipped, how should such a person be treated by members of the family in their family relationship – P.C. Ontario, Canada. In this QFR, the Watchtower discusses how to treat certain individuals within the community and based on their role in your life will depend how you treat them. For instance, it discusses the relationship between the spouse that leaves the organization vs the one that decides to stay.
