Why can speech get slurred sometimes?

In this video, I answer the question: "Why does my speech get slurred sometimes, and what can I do to sharpen up delivery?" This question at first can seem like a straightforward articulation question. But sometimes our words can get slurred if we're not totally clear on the ideas we're trying to communicate or if we don't feel confident or like we have permission to express ourselves. I offer you some tips to approach this question holistically, from grounding into your experience before you talk, pacing yourself and speaking with intention. From there, if slurring is still happening, articulation exercises will be more powerful than if you just started with them in the first place.
