This is my Kirby G3 Upright vacuum that I bought locally on OfferUp for pretty cheap. This was in rough condition when I first got it, the brush roll wasn't spinning, the mini emptor was cracked, and one of the rear wheel caps was missing, but luckily after a belt change and playing around with the belt lifter. I did have to buy a new style emptor for this from an Ultimate G, cause at the time I couldn't find the correct colored emptor, same thing went for one of the back wheel caps. Other things I bought to put this back into service was a new style belt lifter (similar to the design used on the G5 and G6), a new motor since the original got thrown off balance when the fan got damaged, also the transmission was replaced as well, and runs a lot quieter than the original, and lastly, since the original handle spring was broken, I sourced a new replacement from a Sentria (so admittedly, the color doesn't match even the replacement mini emptor). It comes with Kirby's Tech Drive system which is basically a self-propelled drive motor mounted on the rear wheels and it is spring activated so when you push or pull on the machine, the handle slides forward and back. Another issue this had when I got it is that the slide arm wouldn't move forward or backward, so I look it apart and had it greased up and now it works like it was new. This didn't come with its attachments when I got it, so for the tool demo in this video, I borrowed the attachments from my Ultimate G Diamond Edition (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W1UP2.... It features a 7.0-amp motor with direct air design and takes S-Style Bags with Micron Magic filtration (this example is running the HEPA bags which is pretty pricey but, in the end, it filters way better and increases and maintains performance throughout the vacuum cycle). The suction is great (especially in tool mode, it's the best on any direct air vacuum I've used to date), the airflow is fantastic (this one did already have the upgraded fan installed), and the agitation is awesome. My only complaints about this machine is that it's quite heavy, and it's sometimes inconvenient to stop and go to the closet to fetch the attachments. Overall, I really love this vacuum, and it definitely looks more like a modern example of a G3 compared to how it looked before.
