Palestinian BDS Movement activist Saleh Hijazi on how we can build an apartheid and genocide-free Ireland in solidarity with the Palestinian people’s struggle for freedom, justice and equality. Saleh Hijazi is the Apartheid-Free Policy Coordinator at the Palestinian Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions National Committee (BNC), the leadership of the global nonviolent movement working to end complicity with, and towards dismantling, Israel’s regime of settler-colonialism, military occupation, and apartheid. Saleh has worked for Amnesty International, where he was MENA Deputy Regional Director. He is co-author of Amnesty’s groundbreaking report “Israel’s Apartheid Against Palestinians: Cruel System of Domination and Crime Against Humanity”. Part of Israeli Apartheid Week 2024 in Ireland.
