Take a look around the Princess Class Royal Locomotive Trust West Shed at Butterley - Currently completing the repair/overhaul of 6233 'Duchess of Sutherland'. Also onsite is long-time resident 46203 'Princess Margaret Rose' - This loco doesn't have a defined plan to return to steam in the near-mid term and is currently stabled only onsite. The Duchess is seen off her wheel set and requiring work to her firebox and tubes before re-assembly. Her wheel-set has seen work completed on its tyres and can be seen next to 46203 in the front part of the workshop. The staff at PCRLT are very welcoming and open to lots of questions - West Shed is well worth a visit and highly recommended if you're in the area and can visit/support the trust.
