Don’t forget to visit Keri Beach and Fort Tiracol / Terekhol Fort,North Goa | Goa beach | Goa2021

The Tiracol Fort is located on the northernmost tip of Goa and happens to be the de facto landmark of the only Goan province that lies across the Tiracol river. Originally built by Maharaja Khem Sawant Bhonsle of Sawantwadi in the 17th century, this fort complex accommodates the fort and the only church within the all-Catholic village that is Tiracol. Fort Tiracol was one of the key locations where freedom fighters would often hold satyagraha protests for liberation from the Portuguese rule. So, I visited Querim Beach (Keri Beach). This beach is amazingly calm (very less touristic). One of my favourite beaches from North Goa. The sunset time walk is recommended, Away from the hustle and bustle of tourists, this beach is a gem for those who are looking for peace in the state of Goa.
