Dr. John Doski, a pediatric surgeon from the UT Health San Antonio will discuss an upcoming randomized trial comparing open and minimally invasive thorascopic surgery for pulmonary metastatic osteosarcoma. Dr. Doski obtained his medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine and completed a general surgery residency at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. Following completion of his time with the US Air Force, he completed a fellowship in pediatric general and thoracic surgery at the Children’s Medical Center of Dallas under the direction of Dr. Phillip Guzzetta. His clinical interests include pediatric surgical oncology and resident and medical student education. Dr. Doski presently serves as the division chief for Pediatric Surgery in the UTHSCSA Department of Surgery. Dr. Doski is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Pediatric Surgery Association and Children’s Oncology Group.
