Students will also have the chance to win free prizes like reusable water bottles, pens, lanyards, and notepads! Free cake! Dance music! Free noon-hour concert! Discounts at UWSA Soma Cafe! 12pm - 1pm @ UWSA Soma Cafe! - Join Lloyd Axworthy as he speaks to the importance of the UWSA's bottled water ban and the band, Zoppa (www.myspace.com/zoppabrothers), as they set the mood and get you jammin'. To highlight the UWSA's bottled water ban initiative, the UWSA Soma Cafe will be providing all students with a 10% discount (on meals and coffee) if they bring in their own water bottle or coffee mug. A sustainability-themed art display will be on display, courtesy of the UWSA Photo Club. "Water on the Table" film screening 7pm - 9pm @ Ekchardt-Grammate - In partnership with Gallery 1C03 and Cinema Politica, the UWSA is pleased to invite students, faculty, staff, and the community to a free screening of Water on the Table. The evening will begin with a video introduction by Maude Barlowe, with facilitated discussion following the film. Water On The Table is a character-driven, social-issue documentary that explores Canada's relationship to its freshwater, arguably its most precious natural resource. The film asks the question: is water a commercial good like running shoes or Coca-Cola, or is water a human right, like air?
