The Glenwood Cemetery celebrated another year as a part of the Park City Historical Society and Museum. The committee was quite busy this year finishing the painting of the fence, cleanup and working with a monument restoration group. This is their second year of restoration. They have now restored about 100 headstones in the cemetery and you can feel the difference. This was accomplished using Utah State Historical grants and private donations. Park City staff were also helpful. A wonderful picture of the Glenwood Cemetery hangs in City Hall now. The annual Glenwood Reenactment Event was cancelled due to Covid-19 concerns and protocol. Instead this year we did a virtual historic tour with 7 characters and a narrative about the history of the cemetery. Filming took place on Saturday September the 12th. The Glenwood Cemetery is under the Park City Museum. Contributions should be made to the Glenwood Cemetery and sent to the Park City Museum address: Park City Museum PO Box 555 Park City, Utah 84060 Thank you for supporting the Glenwood Cemetery, Park City's History Book
