This video is dedicated to Kathi AKA "ShadoKat" who passed away this week, just days before the release of The Wellermen's "Misty Mountains" video. I exchanged many messages with her over Instagram, and she was always radiantly positive, thoughtful, and kind. Kathi was an avid fan and supporter of me, The Bass Gang, and The Wellermen. A friend of hers recently told me that just based on the audio, this version of Misty Mountains was her favorite of all time, and that she would've loved to be here to see the video. It saddened me greatly to hear of her passing. Kathi was a mega fan of Tolkien, The Hobbit, and LoTr, so I'll leave her with this quote from Gandalf, "...end? No, the journey doesn't end here. Death is just another path, one that we all must take. The grey rain-curtain of this world rolls back, and all turns to silver glass, and then you see it." Rest in peace, ShadoKat.
