Clockwork Ruins - Mission 2 The Adventure of the Purple Coins Yep, there's a Purple Coins mission here in the Clockwork Ruins, and it's restricted entirely to the first area, with the huge rotating stones with platforms attached to them. There are exactly 100 Purple Coins located here, so you can't even miss one if you want to get the Star. And of these, perhaps a good 90 of them (at the very least) are located on the rotating platforms. They spin along with the gravity, but you're always falling downwards, so you need to keep up with the rotation as you're climbing around the stone structures if you don't want to be left behind. At the very least, there are Whittles hanging around here this time telling you how many Purple Coins you should have by this point, just in case there were a few that didn't catch your eye. This seems to be the only Purple Coin mission in this game to give you such markers ("Purple Coins in the Woods" being the only mission in the original Mario Galaxy that did such a thing). I like these. There should've been more, though I suppose they'd only work in the more linear Purple Coins missions. Requested by darkdragoon1000
