Episode 1 | Our Final Shakeout Camp

This is the first video as we set ourselves up for full-time van life. Apologies up front for the state of the video. It isn't up to the polished standard of most of those we all choose to watch on this platform. They'll get better. Honest! :) In this video we head out for a three-day camp next to Pontsticill Reservoir in the Brecon Beacons. We were blessed with great weather and made the absolute most of it. It's an area we have walked in a lot, especially just a little further north around Pen-Y-Fan etc. We will definitely be back at some point in the not too distant future. As a shakeout trip, we learned a lot in these three short days: we still have too much crap with us being the main takeaway! We will be full-time vanlifers on 18th March when my boy gets back from the States and I give him his dog and house back. After that, Libby and I will go our separate ways for a few days to take care of some personal matters before turning our vans north and heading for Scotland to kick things off.
