A&Z #1064 - Professional eater Randy Santel vs Crawdaddy's 5 Foot Long Cajun Po'boy Sandwich Challenge hosted by Crawdaddy's On Greenfield located in West Allis, Wisconsin just west of Milwaukee!! Our friend Troy has been watching our videos for over 2.5 years now and he invited ‪@KatinaEatsKilos‬ and I over to his restaurant Crawdaddy's On Greenfield that he opened back in 2018 in West Allis, Wisconsin. Crawdaddy's serves us authentic Cajun food including lots of different traditional Po'boy sandwiches. For this new 5 Foot Long Cajun Po'boy Sandwich Challenge, there is a 5 foot long French baguette bread loaf weighing 2 pounds total. It is broken down into 5 footlong sections, each with a different protein - blackened catfish, blackened shrimp, fried catfish, fried shrimp, and fried alligator. The whole sandwich had traditional Po'boy toppings including pickles, lettuce, tomatoes, and mayonnaise. I added their Cajun tartar sauce and also got some au jus to dip the bread in as necessary. Along the way I enjoyed a Strawberry Cognac Beignet Ale made by West Allis’ Westallion Brewing Company. I was trying to become the first champion to win my $50 Po'boy sandwich free plus a sweet t-shirt and spot on Crawdaddy's Wall of Fame!! BIG thanks to Troy the owner and everyone with Crawdaddy's On Greenfield for the wonderful food, drinks, beignets, and hospitality!! Crawdaddy's serves up a delicious Cajun menu which includes traditional Po'boy sandwiches. For this food challenge, there is a 5 foot long French baguette that weighs 2lbs total. The baguette is broken into 5 footlong sections, each with a different Cajun-themed protein. There is fried catfish, blackened catfish, grilled shrimp, blackened shrimp, and fried alligator. Each footlong section includes traditional Cajun Po'boy toppings - lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and mayonnaise. I also had them add a Cajun tartar sauce which was extra delicious!! There are no sides included and the fresh beignets I enjoyed for dessert were also optional.
