Swedish Type 32 Gas Mask

Swedish Type 32 civilian/civil defence mask made in 1955. The Type 32 is very similar to the British civilian masks from world war 2 except that it has two round eyepieces rather than one rectangular visor. The mask came complete in it's original printed tin and with some anti-fouling paste and an instruction manual. Masks of this age often contained asbestos in the filter so it's a good idea not to breathe through the mask or dismantle it, even if a filter of this age did not contain asbestos other materials inside it may have become harmful.
