How to Crochet A Bear Applique 🐻 (cute, fast and easy) | beginniers friendly tutorial

You can make this crochet teddy bear applique just for fun or add it to a finished baby blanket, hat, cardigan or sweater. I added mine to a baby romper, as you’ll see in the video. The finished size of this applique (excluding the ears) is 2.5” x 2.5” (6.25 x 6.25cm). You can make it bigger by using a thicker weight yarn and larger hook. Or decrease the size if you use an even lighter weight yarn and smaller hook. For the yarn, I used Cotton 8/4 for the head and snout. This yarn is very similar to a #2 sport / 4 ply yarn. To embroider the nose and eyes, I used Hobbii Rainbow Cotton 8/8, which is more like a #4 worsted / aran yarn. For the hook, I used a 3mm crochet hook.
