Grandad's Super 8 - Bala Lake Railway

Here is the next of my Grandad's super 8 films that I have recorded and edited. They had been stored away for almost 20 years and now I plan to go through them and share them with friends and family and anyone else who might be interested here on YouTube. I think Grandad would be amazed at how easy it is to edit and share films now. My Grandad and Grandma, Cyril and Irene Sunderland created these short films together. Cyril Sunderland was an active member of the Chorlton Cine Club. Grandad would also show the films at family gatherings too. Some of the films show members of my family. Sadly, some are no longer here with us so having this opportunity to see them again is amazing. I am very happy to be able to hear my Grandparents voices again. I think the film was taken on a Canon 814 XL-S and I used the Elmo GS-1200 projector. I projected the film on to a white card and videoed it on my camcorder at 50fps. I then separately recorded the two soundtracks into my computer through a mixer.
