Amulet of the Gargoyle is a unique amulet found in The Elder Scrolls V: Dawnguard, during the quest "Amulets of Night Power." It is only available if the Dragonborn chooses to become a Vampire Lord at the conclusion of "Bloodline." The Amulet of the Gargoyle is the companion amulet of the Amulet of Bats. While wearing this amulet, your Summon Gargoyle spell summons an additional Gargoyle for 30 seconds. The amulet must be worn before transforming into a Vampire Lord. Summoning a gargoyle in this form will summon an additional Gargoyle for 30 seconds. Amulet of the Gargoyle can be enchanted with one or possibly two (with an Enchanting skill of 100 and the Extra Effect perk) additional enchantments from any enchanting table. These effects won't show in the item text, but they are viewable in the Active Effects section. This amulet is found at a radiant location during the quest "Amulets of Night Power" given by Feran Sadri in Castle Volkihar. The additional Gargoyle can be used to gain additional Vampire Lord perks, as killing it with the Vampiric Drain spell will count towards feeding. The cycle of summoning and killing can be repeated indefinitely to gain perks. Bugs  360   In the Soul Cairn, the additional Gargoyle tries to attack the lost souls and flying wisps, despite them being completely non-hostile.  360   The Amulet of the Gargoyle may be found in the same location as one of the rings from the quest "Rings of Blood Magic."  360   If a previously slain Dragon Priest is chosen as a bearer of the amulet, it will be impossible to acquire as the corpse will disappear.  360   PS3   Another enchanting effect can be added to the amulet. Although the description of the new enchanting may not appear it still works while in human form. When the Dragonborn transforms into a Vampire Lord the effect of the new enchanting will not function but they still can summon the additional Gargoyle.
