Born in Bangalore, India, She majored in Fine Arts from the Chitrakala parishat and worked as a A jewelry designer for 2 years with a reputed company which was her passion. Life took a turn when she married Rajesh in 1995 and moved from the City of Bangalore to a small town in Kenya; Nyeri. In 1995 December She started helping out in Highlands Mineral Water company, which was a family business till Rajesh decided to follow his passion and Started Raka Milk Processors ltd in 2001 Raka, which stands for Rajesh and Kalpa, was the beginning of a long journey. Started in 2001, Raka is now 20 years old which has been a journey that has had many successes, many failures, a few heartbreaks and 2 beautiful Boys, Parth & Manav. Through the journey of life in Kenya, Kalpa lost Rajesh in 2010, her strength and pillar of undying optimism, but that didn’t stop her from making Raka a household name. Through the years, She has received coverage in Various Monthly Magazines, Various weekly publications, she has been Facilitated by the First lady of Kenya for her Humanitarian Works, she has a chapter dedicated to her in a Book by Evelyn Mungai Through Glass Ceiling just to name a few.
