In this video, Andy Irvine introduces you to our "Endangered Species" run of new old stock Set-Neck Warwick Dolphin basses. These unique instruments are made from bodies and necks that were made in our workshop in the early 2000's but were set aside and have been aging ever since. Now they are being assembled into seventeen stunning basses, available in both four and five-string versions but in only a handful of unique finishes. All 17 of these basses are available exclusively through Ish Guitars (https://ish.guitars ). And best of all, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to @theoceancleanup. Each one of these extremely limited run of Warwick Dolphins features an Afzelia body, an Ovangkol neck, a Wenge fingerboard, and 26 brass frets. These basses offer a wide tonal range thanks to the MEC brushed steel-covered pickups, modern Warwick two-band active-passive electronics, and a coil-tap feature. Other notable features include a quick access electronics compartment cover and a set neck with the slightly different headstock shape that was used back in the 2000s.
