Buckstones Edge Marsden Reach for the Sky

Hello again and thank you for visiting the channel and I hope you enjoy this weeks video. Today’s video was filmed on the outskirts of Huddersfield at Buckstones Edge up on the moors, West Yorkshire in the UK. This is a very popular beauty spot and is fantastic either to walk/hike to or simply drive up and park in the free car park. It had been recommended to me many times but after quite a few failed attempts due to high winds, Paragliders and Pidgeon racing lol. The weather has been the best it all year and so I didn’t want to miss the opportunity although I did have to cut the flying short as Peter, the paraglider (lovely fellow) turned up so I did the right thing and give him free reign of the skies. Please not the footage I took of him with the paraglider was entirely filmed from the ground as I brought the drone down when I saw he was setting everything up for a flight. As you can see it is a fantastic place for it, or just take in those amazing views. After looking up for any information on Buckstones Edge I did manage to find an interesting story about a double murder from around 1903. I am very lucky that I get to go out and film some lovely locations but I thought I would include you on the journey getting there with an adventure style format rather than just fly the drone over the rocks. It will be interesting to see what viewers think and if they prefer joining me on my journey to get to the destination or just prefer the simple flight instead or both like I have done in this particular video and many others?
