We're recovering into a world which can have a lot of triggers and traps for relapse.... Maybe it's going through something like stress, grief, or anxiety, which could either lead to an 'accidental' relapse through say a loss of appetite, or to an 'intentional' relapse as you seek a sense of control or escape in food/body/exercise control, or to n 're-brand' relapse where you fall into a different for of ED behaviours (i.e. Maybe your restriction shifts to 'clean-eating', or to excessive exercise). From my experiences of treatment and relapse I've learnt that I need to protect myself during these difficult times in life. Whether that be from an accidental, intentional, or re-branded relapse. Whatever the precipitating factor or 'method' of relapse, none of that shit can ever be for me!!
